Wandering
Wandering is a mobile application created to help people relieve anxiety and negative emotions. Wandering uses a light gamification approach that guides users through a personal mental world. During registration, each user selects a spiritual body that becomes the character for the journey. Users record their feelings each day and receive feedback that invites them to rethink problems from different angles. Encouraging messages from users in similar situations appear along the route, and a meditation function is also included. The application is made for the iOS system.
Wandering Psychological App by Weilong Gao has been recognized as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Wandering Psychological App was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2022. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which honors superior design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
