WellPaper
WellPaper is a mobile application that shows screen time and smartphone usage through five dynamic wallpapers. Installed applications are sorted into six categories, and their screen times are displayed directly on the home screen. The five designs are Composition, Glow, Radial, Cosmos and Botanical Garden. Each wallpaper is rendered as a static image and updated on unlock, which keeps battery use low. A companion screen allows users to set a daily screen time target and review details for each category. The aim is to make daily smartphone habits easy to understand.
WellPaper Mobile Application by Jay Qian was selected as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
