Pyeniny

Pyeniny is a mobile app audio guide to Pieniny – one of the most picturesque mountain ranges in Central Europe. The fascinating stories, legends, beliefs and myths were enclosed in 25 tales told by the mysterious mountain spirit. To provide a unique experience, the app takes advantage of GPS technology which allows to lead tourists along the routes and play particular recordings precisely in places they describe. The heart of the project is the hand-drawn map which guides the travellers. The app does not use other media to do not distract the users from the natural wonders around them.

In Germany, there is a subtile scepsis among the population, especially when it comes in anything that’s more expensive than a car. PLANIK is an online platform with a calculator with a patented formula that combines properties of architecture, finances and general knowledge for people who are interested in building their own house. With PLANIK, you get a printout with all the necessary calculations, which provides substantial informations you can hand out to your local banking services in order to get a loan for building your house.

Mercku

Mercku, a Canadian IoT hardware company has a launched a new mobile application that puts the host in complete control of the Wi-Fi system's user, bandwidth, and security. Hosts can view the list of users, block and add users with ease, and also block users deemed inappropriate. Also, hosts can control the amount of bandwidth used by each user, limiting their access to the system. Lastly, the system has an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive design and built-in security system that thwarts unwanted hackers, and uninvited guests.

Hyku, a Canadian interactive video, and media company, has completely overhauled the design of its website while adding in a unique content management system. Hyku is an interactive video software, helping power all new and existing video streams, facilitating user engagement, more in-depth data analytics and better monetization methods for media companies. Hyku has redesigned its website to highlight these unique offerings. Also, Hyku's site hosts a new content management system, which allows users to access their videos, upload interactive content and see audience engagement.

Project Scope

Project Scope is a portfolio website for Pawel Malenczak - freelance ux designer and front-end developer. Website is designed as a one-page site with several micro-sites corresponding to projects showcased in work section. Minimalistic and clean design combined with HTML5 technology, subtle animations and transitions result in excellent user experience. In order to provide better readability and users workflow, website's layout adapts to mobile devices (tablets & smartphones).
